Minimalist keys

Large and cumbersome keys have been modified to a smaller format by removing the heads of the keys.

New holes have been drilled in the keys and a precise fit pivot was machined from aluminium. A M3 button head socket screw is used keep the pivot together.

The keys can be spread out so that all the keys are accessible.

Where the key heads used to be have been rounded off and sanded smooth.

When spread out like so, the other keys offer leverage when turning in a lock.
